Yes – all our products can be applied to wet legs. However, we recommend they are towel-dried. Dry dirt should be removed with a soft brush before application.

Pour the product onto a soft sponge and press it against the skin.
Dip a sponge in warm water and apply the soap to it, then rub it onto the mane, tail, or legs.
As a starting point, we recommend oil-based products for horses with feathering. Horses without feathering or with clipped feathering should use cream.
Apply directly to the wound. Avoid washing or picking at scabs. Simply apply the cream on top.

Yes – absolutely. Just dry them with a towel afterwards.
We recommend Leg Oil Paste for horses kept in wet and muddy paddocks. Apply preventively with a brush about once a week.
Yes, you can. Procedure: Wash with Farriers Mite Shampoo and then spray with Farriers Biosect Mite Spray while the legs are slightly wet. Repeat every 10 days, 3–4 times. Between washes, apply Farriers Mudfever Cream daily. Apply Itch Buster every other day for the first 10 days, then 1–2 times daily.
This is often caused by dry and flaky skin. Use our Twin Pack with Stop Itch and M/S Cream, which moisturizes and relieves itching.
Orders are shipped daily with GLS. For delivery to a business or private address, a delivery authorization is required if no one is present. We recommend setting up a general authorization with GLS via their website. This avoids picking up parcels at a parcel shop. The price you pay is the actual shipping cost – there are no hidden fees included in the product price.
Summer eczema can be a complex condition. Early prevention starting already in March is crucial for an easier course. We recommend using Farriers Stop Itch, which contains Benzyl Benzoate and is highly anti-itch. Many horses still need protection from a rug.
No – there is no expiration date on our products. However, they should be stored away from sunlight and direct heat.
Shireoil products are based on mineral oil and sulfur. Farriers products are based on plant oils and, as far as possible, natural ingredients. Manufacturers do not provide full ingredient lists, as this is not required by law.
Soft Soap becomes soft when stored cold. Conversely, it becomes firm when stored warm (room temperature).
Yes. We offer Click & Collect, which you can choose during checkout. You will receive both SMS and email when your order is ready for pickup.
Clean the frog cleft with warm soapy water. Let it soak if needed (like a hoof soak). Rinse with clean lukewarm water. Use a large syringe to flush. Dry with cotton and spray with Farriers Frog Conditioner. If possible, insert cotton pads into the openings, possibly moistened with the product. Repeat twice daily. A dry, clean environment is preferred.
